
In February 2025, the Wellbeing Programs have significant advancements regarding scholarships for students. The Federal Consumer Protection Agency reports that registrations will open and cards will be distributed at various educational levels.
High school students will have the opportunity to apply for the Benito Juárez Universal Scholarship, which grants 1,900 pesos bimonthly. Registration will be available from February 5 to 28 online at www.gob.mx/becasbenitojuarez.
On the other hand, university students can apply for the Young People Building the Future scholarship from February 10 to 28. This scholarship provides 5,800 pesos bimonthly and is aimed at students from priority schools.
A new feature is the "Rita Cetina" Universal Scholarship, created by President Claudia Sheinbaum. Registration for these scholarship programs will be open from February 5 to March 28. Its purpose is to support school retention and reduce dropouts by providing bimonthly financial assistance.
Regarding the distribution of Wellbeing Bank cards to secondary school students, it will take place from February 5 to March 28. Each card will receive a direct deposit of 1,900 pesos bimonthly, with an additional 700 pesos for each additional student in the family.
Information about the card distribution dates will be provided in schools in advance to facilitate students' receipt. The objectives of these programs are to support students in their educational journey and prevent school dropouts by offering significant financial assistance.
